Sweet Surrender Review

For five long years, Chantal has been in love with Dom. They have always had a great friendship and flirted with each other like nobody’s business, which just seemed to be their thing. Chantal’s feelings for Dom were obvious to everyone but him.
After being rejected for the last time by Dom, Chantal is fed up and ready to move on…or so she thinks. She finds solace in a familiar face and starts anew. Things start to heat up, and along with new beginnings come new surprises…and secrets. An old flame resurfaces and things go awry. The crazier life gets, the harder it is to keep her secrets from the people she loves, including Dom. Can she keep these secrets hidden forever?
Dom has been hiding his feelings for Chantal for five years. He just can’t see a way to make it work. There are things about him that she can never know. One could test her limits and the other would certainly test their relationship. Either way, Dom is afraid he will lose her if she were to ever find out.
Will the love that Chantal and Dom has for each other, be strong enough for them to cope with all of the lies and deceit? Or will it end them for good?

I have been waiting for this book.  The first book ended on a cliffhanger and I was dying to get my hands on this book.  This was one action packed book.  I could not wait for Dom's and Chantal's story AND to see what the hell is going on with Nate and Skylar.  I felt like I was ridding one BIG roller coaster.

First off I am a HUGE fan of the first book.  Both books are not hearts and flowers, there are some really difficult scenes in there, not to many and there are some ABSOLUTELY friggen HOT scenes as well.  Dom and Chantal's relationship was a train wreck coming if I did not know better.

Chantal has been in love with Dom for 5 years and Dom as well, there was just one little problem....They both never told the other how they felt.  Dom has a certain life style and he is not sure that Chantal can accept it.  But boy oh boy does she surprise him.
Every twist and turn was not what I expected.  Chantal starts to date Joey from the bar and that pisses off Dom more than ever.  But the way that he eased her into his life style, you knew that he had some deep feelings for her.  There relationship was very crazy, but the sex......that was on fire.

Nate and Skylar have there problems in there to solve and try to make things work as they wait for there baby to arrive.  I kept on wondering how they were going to get through all the crap that Nate put her through in the first book.  Every turn there seemed to be a road block for both couples.

Chantal and Dom could not have come from more different worlds and yet they find a way to love one another and go through some real ugly ups and downs.  You got crazy stalkers, Dom has a job that we are not to sure about what he does for a living and Chantal, well she seems like a prissy little girl, but turns out to be a stronger person than I thought at times.

Anyways I know I am not going into to much detail over the book.  This was a BIG book to read and there really is so much to talk about that I can not even begin to discuss.  My favorite part of Angel's writing style is there is more reality in her books than all the others that I read that have super HEA's at the end.

I can say that I did rate this book at 3 stars, I liked the book and I would recommend the book to anyone.  Don't get me wrong, it is not a bad book at all and it worth the read, I guess that I expected different things to happen in the book.  That is the great thing though, Angel writes what she wants to.
SO, this is how I feel while writing this review.

After ALL and I mean ALL that happens in this book all I can say is well done Angel, take a bow, and now get back to writing and give us more.
