Review Finding Us - S.K Hartley

OK, OK.  If I did not love Tate in the first two books I do now.  That man is a saint.  There is nothing that a person will do for the one that you love.  This is Tate's and Low's story.

Low as we know is Neva's roommate and friend.  She was a fire ball in the first two books, showing us her love and strength.  Now we learn who this woman is.  Her friendship with both Logan and Neva is strong, she is still dating Tate and we learn a whole lot more about their relationship, things are not always what they seem.  Low had been keeping Tate at arms length for a very good reason.  What that reason may be?  That is for you to figure out when you read the book.

I was speechless, completely speechless.  Tate undoubtedly takes my breath away, stealing it like a thief, keeping it until I begged for it back.

Tate had the patience of a saint.  He is Logan's best friend, had known Low for sometime now.  They have been dating for a few months now,  their connection growing stronger, their need to be with one another.  Low has been trying to keeps things with Tate platonic but he is not as easy person to say no too.

Tonight, Tate was going to take me: he was going to stake his claim on me.  He was going to make me his without fear of thought.  He was going to ruin me, and what scared me the most was... I wanted him to.

Well I know that I would not turn Tate down either.  They had fun together, laughed and played and trusted one another.  Could she trust him enough with her secret?  Would he be safe if he or anyone found out who she really was?  She had been hiding herself, her scars for so long and Tate was breaking the wall down that she built slowly a little bit at a time until she crashed.

But the deep dark secret that Low has kept for years was knocking on her door.  The one person that knew who she was, helped her keep her secret, hid with her was going to be the one to go down with her.  I can not go into detail about that, it will ruin the book, I can say however that I would run from it too.  The people that were trying to pull her back in, get what they felt was there natural right.  Yes, they were the dumb ones.

"I suggest you watch your fucking mouth, Nicolai.  You have no idea who I am," I said leaning into him.  "And that, is very fucking stupid."

I really liked this book.  Enjoyed ALL the characters, new and old.  I hope that a certain someone in this book will get there own book.  He needs it.  He was as important as Tate and Low and just to clarify there was no love triangle.  You will know who it is when you read the book.  He just needs his own story, one that will help me know that he is okay with the decision that he made and that he can find love in the new world that he went back too.

5 stars go to the author.

“Enough room?” He growled, his brow arching at my comment. “Baby, I don’t think you get it yet. I want to consume your every thought, every movement, every desire.”

His hands suddenly cupped my face as he leaned in close, his breath caressing my lips like soft silk. My pulse skyrocketed at his closeness, as it did every time he was near, sending me dizzy with lust. I could feel the vulnerability snaking its way through my body, latching onto my crimson blood as it slowly seeped through my skin. I could physically smell my vulnerability as it permeated the air around us. I could smell it, taste it, see it.

“Okay,” I squeaked, the fear of my secrets dripping from my soft voice.

“Listen, and listen good, Low. I will consume every part of you. I will consume every thought, every movement, every desire. You won’t be able to breathe without thinking of me, feeling me, wanting only me. Am I clear?”

Oh dear god.

I could feel the lump in my throat forming, choking me with every second that passed, seconds that felt like torturous hours.

“Yes,” I replied on a shaky breath.

Words had yet again failed me. I was sprouting one word answers because Tate did something to me that no man had ever accomplished. He made me feel.

His lips suddenly crashed against my own, the power he held over me pushing boundaries I didn’t know were there. His teeth scraped against my bottom lip, pulling and tugging as if pleading for entry. My head screamed, begged, and bartered, yelling at me to stop, to push back and leave. But his lips and teeth held me captive, my heart jumping at the chance to finally overpower my head, all too willing to be his victim.

It started with a game, a very fun computer game, but curiosity–and a desire to know a life so intriguing and different from my own–got the better of me. I had just started to venture out with my own work at my father’s private investigating firm when our paths crossed on purpose. My purpose. I never expected things to go the way they did. I never expected him to be so nice and handsome. I couldn’t be number four. How could any woman love a man with more than one wife? Not only was it impossible, it was ridiculous.

There was no way I was getting any closer. I was going to get in, dig around a little, and get out. That’s it. Does anything ever turn out the way we plan? Becker Cole’s wives were not the typical, obedient little housewives wearing aprons and submitting to him I had pegged them to be. They were cute, young and full of life. I loved them. All three of them. And somehow, I loved Becker too. Could I swallow the persona that society expected me to be and share him, or was this too much? Was I ready to be a part of this world?
And if I wasn’t… could I just walk away?

As most of you know I am Jettie Woodruff, author of the Amazon bestselling Underestimated series. I also hate bios...
I am a lifelong writer, published for a couple years now. I write romance, erotica, and some dark erotica. The main thing people need to know about my writing is, I don't really write your normal, cliché, romance. I like to write on the edge where I like to keep my readers.
My main goal when I write is to pull every emotion possible from my readers. I want you to, laugh, feel sad, get pissed off, and be happy. I also like to make you question your morals. That is probably my aim more so than anything, make you fall in love with the bad guy. Sometimes I can pull it off and sometimes not so much. I guess it depends on your forte. I like to write about the bad boy, and have you fall in love with him.
I have always read, for as long as I can remember. My first taste of a dark read was VC Andrew's, Casteel series. I need to read that one again.
I am overwhelmed with the support and friends that I have made throughout my endeavor, and thank each and every one of you personally for all you do to help, for promoting me, for recommending my books, and most of all for those little IM's that I get throughout the day from people who love my work. Thanks guys, you're all my rocks, and live in my heart.
