Hers - Dawn Robertson - Review

I am weak.
I am lonely.
I am a slut.
I am strong.
I am Dominant.
I am independent.
I am Seven James.

My entire life, no one has wanted me, and that was fine, because I sure as shit didn't need anyone else. Blah, Blah Blah, insert sad story here about negligent parents, and shitty siblings, and you have my life story in a nut shell. When my college boyfriend dumped me, it was just icing on the cake. Five years, and a booming career later I am here to collect my revenge.

That was until a delicious plaything walked into the kink club I frequent, and rocked my typically un-rockable world. Causing me to break the one rule I have lived by since Daniel Alexander walked out   of my life, never have sex with the same person twice. Ever

 My Review

I enjoyed this book quite a bit.  5 Stars all the way.  I liked Seven, she was balls to the wall, one tough BITCH.  She did not care what others thought of her.  Seven became a tough business woman after her boyfriend breaks up with her.  She has carefully built walls around her and will not let anyone in.  She has a childhood best friend Star, whom she loves.  This is the only person that she will sleep with more than once.

At the Kink club that Seven is a regular at she meets Levi Parker.  She brings him home with her and all I can say is, that was one well written sex scene.  I don't think I can do it justice.  That was hotter than my vibrator.  No shit.  OK back to Levi, the man has some skills.  That was 20 pages into the book.

Here is what I liked about Seven, she wasn't a whiny woman who was so screwed up that she couldn't see what was good for her.  She knew that she had issues, faced them and was honest on what she could not handle.  When she wanted out, she got out.  When she wanted in she was in.  Seven understood her problems and faced them head on.

So go read it, I am not going to go into all the details about the book. It is filled with many hot moments but, I want you to find out everything on your own.  You just may want your Husband, boyfriend, girlfriend around during or after reading this.  You may find yourself needing a release.

The book kept my attention and I liked almost everyone in the book minus a couple of characters, but you will feel the same when you read it.  This is a great debut novel and I can not wait to read Star's story.
