Tryst by S.L. Jennings

Heidi DuCane is a tough-as-nails publicist with a passion for success and her husband Tucker. While they’re polar opposites, what they do have in common is a fierce love and commitment to each other. But their relationship-in and out of the bedroom-will be put to the ultimate test.

Rock superstar Ransom Reed is every woman’s fantasy, including Heidi’s. When she meets Ransom, she shares a wild night with him where Heidi gets to play-and Tucker watches, and enjoys, the pleasure Ransom gives Heidi. Though Tucker was a willing participant, Heidi still can’t help reeling with guilt. There’s no doubt that she loves her husband. While Tucker is the perfect lover-generous, attentive and gentle-she needs much more. She needs the mind-blowing ecstasy Ransom offers.

Tucker isn’t blind to the fact that Heidi has unconventional needs which he can’t satisfy. He loves his wife and will do anything to please her. The night he watched her and Ransom was so scorching hot and Tucker can’t stop thinking about it. He decides he wants to join Ransom in pleasing Heidi. But as Tucker and Heidi soon realize, it’s not just the sex that is enticing. Heidi felt something within her awaken, and she felt so deliciously sated and loved by both men. Tucker felt it too, and he finds it impossible not to want that feeling again.

Ransom and Tucker satisfy a need within Heidi. And now that she’s had them, she can never go back to the way things were before.

 MY REVIEW

4 STARS

This book pulled my heart and mind in a dozen different paths.  I had no idea what I was stepping int when I started this.  For those who loved Taint, Tryst will exceed your expectations.

Who for the love of anything would let their spouse sleep with someone else while watching?  Tucker DuCane did, and let me say while it was hot I was really thinking I could NEVER EVER, EVEN IF IT WAS JARED LETO HIMSELF do that.  Reading it and loving it however, totally fine with me.

Heidi DuCane is married to Tucker and the book is in Heidi's POV.  I loved the love both Heidi and Tucker shared for one another, they were happy, really happy.  Heidi only needed Tucker to up his performance in the bedroom. He was good, but Heidi needed him to be rougher.  Tucker however refused to do what Heidi wanted.  So, when the chance came around, he improvised with none other than the rock star himself, Ransom Reed.

After that night things start to spiral out for Heidi, her thoughts and feelings get blurred.  She can't stop thinking about Ransom and how he made her feel from one night of passion.  I never doubted for one minute Heidi's love for Tucker, I was apprehensive as to what Heidi was going to do about her feelings for Ransom.

I was nervous, really nervous as I continued in this book.  If you read Taint then you know who Heidi is and yes, Justice Drake is in the book and boy did I miss him.  I swear I picture Mike Thurston when I read anything Justice Drake, YUMMY.  Anyways, back onto the book...As Heidi's feelings for Ransom start to grow she gets a little irritating.

Even though it was in Heidi's POV, I could feel Tucker and Ransoms emotions jumping off the pages.
