Q: Do you ever feel bad for leaving your readers with painful cliffhangers?
A:  YES.

Q: How many times have you been asked that today?
A: I have been asked that a lot.

ME: Just in case you don’t know, Jessica is the QUEEN of cliffhangers.  They are so worth it though.  She is an amazing writer and she gives us so much in all of her books.

Q: I've noticed that you have written a lot of books, how do you come up with new ideas and situations for your characters that are different from one another?  You write really fast.
A: I don’t really know.  I just think of something and that’s what I do.  Like Callie and Kayden, I wrote it for someone and that was its own thing.  Then Nova came and I get an idea and I go with it.  I try to stay away from them having a similar story line.

ME:  That seems to be the hardest, I have read your books and they are all very different. How do you try to make there situations are unique to their own?
Jessica: I can usually feel it when I am writing.  It’s like sometimes somebody’s voice will sneak in and so I will change it.  I really just sit down, I don’t plan, I don’t outline I just go with the flow and that’s what comes out.

ME: I was going to ask you if you use a chart or plan.
Jessica: I just do one and move on.  What a wild imagination I guess.

ME: Who is your favorite character out of all your books or the one that is most dear to you?
Jessica: Saving Quinton.  Quinton is kind of my baby. I wanted to make him better so when he finally became better I was happy with it.
