Fallen Crest Family

FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS....

Samantha and Mason are together. Everyone knows it. Not everyone is dealing with it. While Mason’s ready to give them the middle finger, there’s one not going away. Her mother. Threats are issued. Ultimatums are given. Even blackmail is used, but only Samantha can put a stop to Analise. However, when a trauma from her past is triggered, she may not have the courage or strength to do what’s needed. If she doesn’t, Mason’s future could be destroyed.

Wow!  This book delivered just as much drama as the first one.  We pick up two months after Fallen Crest High and Logan, Mason and Sam are still tightly woven.  Sam and Masons relationship is still going strong and no one can bring them down.  There parents do not approve of there relationship and yet they don't care.  Now that everyone knows of Sam's and mason relationship she is a bigger target.

Sam is trying to find her way in all this mess she is still silent, does not stick up for her self and uses running as her means of self preservation.  Mason is so in love with her and worries about her as Sam's life becomes more complicated due to her mother.   Her mother really tries to pull the two of them apart at any cost.  I can't tell you what it is but you are going to go bat shit crazy when you find out.

Analise is one CRAZY bitch, really crazy.  I had no idea that she was that fucked up.  If I had her for a mother I would have run away years ago.  I was glad to get more insight on Sam's history with Analise,  there were a lot of surprises.  I have no idea why Sam put up with so much shit her mother threw at her, there are some really BIG secrets that come to light.

I just don't get why Sam keeps her mouth shut.  I want her to scream it from the top of the mountain that her mother is a fucking bitch and air the dirty laundry that she keeps hidden.  Everyone expect Mason, Logan and even Nate have her back.  Sam gets a job and her boss becomes her friend not because of her connection to Mason Kade, but because she likes her attitude.   They had there own connection and understood one another.  Heather respected Sam and her relationship with Mason.

Her hand fell from her hip again and her shoulders dropped.  "I'm sorry.  I was being a bitch."  She chewed on her lip for a second before she gave me a sheepish grin.  " I kind of think I'm in love with you myself.  I get it now.  I see why those two care so much about you."  Her eyes twinkled in humor.  "If I were a lesbian, I'd want you as my girlfriend.  I have a straight boner for you, Sam.  Hot damn."

Sam is struggling to protect Mason from her mother.  They have been pushed into a corner that they are struggling to get out of.  No one can know what Analise is threatening Sam with.  As the families come together again more secrets come to light and Analise is always at the center of them holding Sam's life in her hands, she is a fucking sad excuse for a mother.  It is up to Sam to put this family back together the best she can.  She will do anything for Mason.

This is one of my favorite series and I can NOT wait for the third book.  I knew there would be another one and I am prepared to wait..........
